## What is Project NANDA?
Project NANDA is an open initiative creating open protocols, registries, and discovery mechanisms that allow independent AI agents to communicate and transact without centralized platform lock-in. Just as HTTP and TCP/IP enabled the open World Wide Web, NANDA establishes the communication fabric for autonomous multi-agent systems.
